For those iPhone users that are serious about budgeting and want to keep close tabs on your finance from your phone,the Mint.com app is the one for you. With Mint.com, you can keep an eye on your checking and credit card balances throughout the day, in real-time and track expenses by category. The screenshots provided are user-friendly and extremely helpful, as well as the special alerts feature. When you go over budget in certain categories or if you are assessed a fee you will be alerted. A four-digit passcode on your account gives you added security and if you lose your phone, you can go to your Mint.com profile (from another computer or phone) and switch off iPhone access to your account. The only negative remark we have found about this app is some report a slower speed for the newest version. Other than that, most users love the way this app works. This app is free!

If you want to always know where the world’s markets stand you can do that from anywhere with the Bloomberg iPhone app. You will have access to the latest news, stock quotes, company information, and market trends right from your iPhone. With this app you can still stay in touch with the market regardless of where you are. This app knowing that you can watch and analyze the world’s markets from any taxi cab, restaurant or deck chair. You can easily create create a custom list of stocks to follow and your iPhone will keep you posted with all the updates. Those that use this popular app seem to love it, but there have a few glitches reported that are being worked out. The Bloomberg iPhone app is free!

The Save Benjis iPhone app was created for those that want the best deal possible. Also, check out Save Benjis+ which is a seperate app that turns your iPhone into a barcode scanner. This gives you the ability to scan any barcode and get prices from internet stores all over the world. If you find a good price, you can make the purchase right from the app. That’s pretty sweet! Save Benjis gets great reviews, but the Save Benjis + seems to need some work. If you want to save some money with this app you first have to buy the app for $0.99 and Save Benjis + costs $3.99.

The Gas Buddy iPhone app makes sure you don’t drive too far out of the way to get it. All you do is enter your ZIP code or City/State data and the app provide you with gas prices as reported by actual travelers across the U.S. and Canada. This app relies on the the success of this app hinges on the accuracy and aptness of the information reported by regular people using this app. The data could be outdated a month later, as a result, some would say this app should be free, but it will cost you $2.99. This app still makes our list because it is a money saver.

The Home Finder Real Estate Tool for the iPhone is an app that helps you stay on top of the competition by providing access to new real estate on the market. This is ideal for those who are looking to buy a house. This app is powered by Trulia, Google Base and Zillow.com, and with it you can find houses by price, size, or location. This totally beats jotting down an address on the first thing you can find that will most likely end up getting lost in your card. The newest version of this app, Version 2.0.1, seems to be getting not so great reviews. It appears the first version was better and there are some frustrated users. Nevertheless, this app is a money saver so it made our list. This app is free!
